Archie Reed has worked in the technology industry for over 14 years. Currently the Senior Director as part of the Office of the CTO, his focus is on identifying, predicting and understanding the future direction and impact of technologies in the messaging, wireless and identity markets. Mr. Reed participates in standards committees including OASIS, and is an active speaker at technical & analyst conferences. In addition to writing articles for various publications, his most recent books are Implementing Directory Services (McGraw-Hill) and The Definitive Guide to Identity Management (Realtime Publishers). He holds an MS in Enterprise Network Management from Sheffield Hallam University in the UK.
